The Almas Temple is a Masonic building at 1315 K St NW in Washington, D.C. It is home to Almas Shriners, a member of Shriner’s International. The historic edifice is in the Moorish architectural style and features an elaborate, multicolored terra-coda façade. It was constructed in 1929 by Allen H. Potts, a member of the temple The building is five stories in height. It was renovated and relocated about 100 feet westward to its current location in 1987 to make way for a new office complex, On Franklin Square.

The Almas Shriners Building Preservation Foundation is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization that serves to provide funding to protect and restore this historic building. The purposes of the Foundation are strictly limited to accepting gifts, bequests, and donations which will be expended by the Foundation solely to prevent deterioration of the Almas Temple, through the preservation, maintenance, sustainment, and operation of the building, facade, and fixtures of the Almas Temple. Solely through such efforts, the Foundation will educate and otherwise benefit the public with
regard to the historically and architecturally significant Almas Temple.
