Almas Yacht Club Oct Meeting

At the October meeting of the Almas Yacht Club we will welcome Mr. Stephen McKenna as our
guest speaker. Mr. McKenna served as a U.S. Navy E-2C Hawkeye Pilot and Landing Signals
Officer. He flew with VAW-113 Black Eagles out of NAS Miramar and on Western Pacific cruises
aboard the USS Constellation and the USS Independence. He later served as an instructor
for VAW-110 Firebirds. Following his Navy career Mr. McKenna graduated from University of San
Diego School of law and has been a private and government attorney for the past 25 years. Mr.
McKenna will relate his experiences as a pilot, Landing Signals Officer, and as a flight instructor as described in his book, Fair Winds, Following Seas, and A Few Bolters.
